Clashes in Skopje Continue with Strong Zeal

As a continuous pattern, the United Opposition of FYROM (mostly social-democrats), after peaceful assemble of rioters in front of “Special Public Prosecutors” in Friday, 07 May, proceeded towards a variety of buildings etc., which symbolize the undisputed rule of Nikola Gruevski and his imprint represented by ugly, pseudo-neoclassistic styles. 
The crowd bypassed the object heavily guarded by police officers. However, they managed to pass near them, with the goal to protest in front of the Government. This last event included massive throwing of paint-bombs, a tactic against “Skopje 2014” architectural objects. 
The several building were especially hit by paint during the dynamic of the end phase of the organized riot. Before, rioters severally attacked the Agency for fight against corruption. Massively mobilized riot police did not used force, but preferred creation of shields around many public buildings.Č
