Zaev Directly Implicates Gruevski in Crime on Today’s Press-Conference

On today’s brief press-conference, followed by presentation of recordings of phone conversation, president of the Social-Democratic Party of FYROM (SDSM) Zoran Zaev, introduced manipulation by Gruevski and his inner circle in order for him to secure a very expensive building location in Skopje’s elite district of Vodno. This was presented with several phone calls. The other phone calls consisted of instruction of Nikola Gruevski to his associates in the government to find a legal or technical fault in the (now demolished) large architectural complex named “Kosmos” whose building was financed by Fijat Canovski, a businessman close to the opposition.
From the phone calls it was apparent that Gruevski wanted to find even a small, most minuscule technicality which would justify the demolition of the expensive residential and business center. Afterwards, Zaev answered to several questions by the journalists, a part of which are presented in the transcript bellow (an answer to question whether Gruevski shall try to destabilize the nation):
“Gruevski, with these threats, imposes in this moment what he does to save his own skin; he is sending the message of destabilization. Whether he is aware or not, may the public decides. We are fighting with words and these evidences. He fights with all institutions and instruments that are at his disposal and he makes threats towards families which are not part of the political elite of the opposition, he is sending threats directly. One thing: even if Gruevski wants, even subconsciously a destabilization, we shall not allow him to do that. Because, as never before, the ethnic communities are gathered in the only goal: to return freedom and democracy. Second: nothing anymore depends solely and only from Gruevski in this country of ours, but certainly, there is no price as the one for freedom and democracy and their return, as well as for stability of our country”.
