In the interview for Skopje’s “24 Vesti” channel (one of rare relatively independent TV channels in FYROM), during a polemic between civil sector activist and intellectual Nikola Gelevski on one side and Aleksandar Pandov, until present days an obscure political activist close to VMRO-DPMNE, Pandov expresses his opinion about the future of the investigation of the “coup d’ etat” criminal case. Pandov’s words should be treated as serious, as his previous announcements regarding the political crisis in FYROM came true, likely because of his ties with the government.
Transcript:
Moderator: “All right, Pandov, how is this looking to you, how is this thing going to end?”
“Well, I have an impression that the judicial procedure continues and in the future period I assume that in the next month, regarding the part about eavesdropping, who eavesdropped, how he eavesdropped, for whom he eavesdropped and for how many [money], I think that we will found out and I expect that the fourth-accused, Mr. Zoran Zaev, shall end in prison.”
