Official Use of "Sun of Vergina" by the local government of FYROM – Τα Σκόπια εξακολουθούν να χρησιμοποιούν τον Ήλιο της Βεργίνας

This is a photo of a small governmental building in city of Skopje, taken today. It represents the official building of the “Mičurin” neighborhood in eastern Skopje, the neighborhood being legally part of the larger “Aerodrom” municipality. The facade of the barrack has both coat of arms of “Aerodrom” municipality of Skopje as well as the Sun of Vergina. It is noteworthy that this part of “Aerodrom” is inhabited primarily by refugees from Greek Civil War and their descendants. A number of them are Crypto-Greeks.
